Assistance with Pizo to Lever Switch

It sounds like you need to do more reading, try Getting Started in Electronics by Forrest Mims which will teach you the basics. I've sent you a private message.

Assistance with Pizo to Lever Switch

THat's probably because you short circuited the battery, in other words connected the + directly to the - which would cause a large current to flow and kill the battery. Yes, the circuit you posted will do that. I'm not sure what you mean but it sounds like it will be much more complicated. I'm...

    Led display Digital Voltmeter question

Did you use the negative supply in the end? If not maybe that's your problem.

SImple question on proper diode/LED voltage supply

No, I calculated the resistor value to give about 10mA at 12V. R = (12-2.1)/0.01 = 990 Ohm which will be difficult to get hold of so I suggested 1k, if the voltage increases to 13.2V the current will be 11.1mA. You could use 560R for 20mA which means the LED will be brighter but won't last as...

SImple question on proper diode/LED voltage supply

You're looking at it the wrong way, you need to limit the current, the LED's characteristics determine the voltage. What's the maximum current rating of the LEDs? What's the recommended operating current? The current needs to be less than the maximum rating whatever happens. You can also...

    ColecoVision Internal Power Supply

Yes, if it's a mains earth the connection will be on the mains side. Why not simply look at the datasheet or ask the manufacturer if it's not clear to you?

Charging 12V SLA with bike dynamo / generator

The capacitor size also depends on the current drawn. For a standard full wave rectifier circuit (not a voltage doubler running off 50 or 60Hz, the capacitors should be 10,000

Maybe some one interesting in build yourself 3D picture generator for subwoofer?

Interesting idea, great gimmick and ideal for use in clubs but I can't see it being any use for 3D TV, still I suppose that's not the point.

    Power Supply for capacitor bank

Of course a single chip can be used, there are only two on my diagram because LTSpice uses separate symbols with their own power supply pins.

    ColecoVision Internal Power Supply

It depends, if the eath is on the mains site, you should connect it but if it's just the DC common rail, it doesn't matter.

Charging 12V SLA with bike dynamo / generator

What's the current rating of the dynamo? To be picky, it isn't a dynamo but an alternator because it produces AC not DC. Standby or float charge, just means that you can connect 13.8V to the battery and leave it there forever in a day and no harm will be done to the battery. The trouble is, if...

People shouldn't be able to delete a thread they've receive replies!

All right, as long as you're happy with that. All I'll say is that I disagree because an original poster deleting their own thread could mean that those who've responded to it might be upset as they feel they're wasted their time. I also don't think people should be allowed to edit their posts...

People shouldn't be able to delete a thread they've receive replies!

My problem is not with users deleting their original post but that they should not delete the entire thread which contains many posts made by others, for example, I could delete this entire thread if I wanted to.

People shouldn't be able to delete a thread they've receive replies!

I've noticed that it's possible to create a thread and delete it, after others have replied, even if you're not a moderator. This is not a good thing because it means someone could ask for help, then delete the thread when they don't like the answers, even though people have spent time replying...

IR Remote to receiver / 4x 240v Relays.

What happned to the other thread? Did you delete it? Don't do that again, not after someone has already replied to it, you shouldn't be able to do it anyway. Your spec's have changed since last time. Now you want 20m to 50m  which is less practical than 10m using IR. What's the frequency of...

    Reverse polarity

Yes it's possible, the power can be reversed using a circuit known as an h-bridge. To alternate between forward and reverse, you need a divide by 2 counter. You need to know the current consumption of your motor to select components for the h-bridge.

    Reverse polarity

Do you have access to a permanent 12V power supply? If not this won't be easy because it needs to remember whether the shaft was spinning clockwise or anticlockwise when the last time the power was applied i.e. it needs to be non-volatile. How much current does the motor need?

    advice me

Use a search engine suchg as Google to get the data sheet. Goodness knows why you would want to use a volt meter IC in a clock project.

    Power Supply for capacitor bank

I tell you what: guess? Even if you don't understand the symbol, it shouldn't be hard to figure it out by looking at similar schematics.
