How to read electronic components using a multimteter.

I mean your question isn't clear and makes no sense.

    Help needed for photovoltaic systems

It depends on what kind of streetlighting system is already in place. It could be possible that LEDs are inferior to the existing system, for example I know that low pressure sodium lamps are the most efficient light source known and that LEDs are much less efficient. There again, I think that...

    Simple sensor project?

Yes, it's possible to use a sensor like that. Yes, it's possible to adjust the sensitivity. There used to be an IC with preprogrammed animal sounds available but I don't know if it's still made. Whether this is easy or not depends on the level of experience you already have and if you can...

2AA Batteries and one supercap cell

There's no simple way to control the power comming into a circuit in the way you've described. If you use diodes, the power supply with the highest voltage will supply all the current. You need an SMPS and controling power is not easy since P = VI and would require an analogue multiplier...

    voltage divider doubt

R2 isn't needed because LEDs need a constant current not a constant voltage. Use the normal LED resistor formula which can be found using Google and calculate the power dissipation in the resistor using Ohm's law P = I2R

    LM338 Power Suply Current Regulator

It's not a very good idea because the extra regulator will increase the drop out voltage by 4.2V.

    LM338 Power Suply Current Regulator

The variable voltage requirement doesn't make any difference, why would it?

Disadvantage of a Bill acceptor using RGB sensors..

What are you asking? The advantages an disadvantages of an electronic bill detector to what?

    LM338 Power Suply Current Regulator

There's no hard and fast rule, I just use current balancing resistors which have a voltage drop of a couple of hundred mV or so at full current. The voltage drop can be calaculated using Ohm's law. It's as efficient as an linear regulator. ?

    LM317 Pspice

What output voltage do you need? The circuit is no good if the values are wrong.

    LM317 Pspice

I've never used Orcad so I can't help you with that. The only thin I can suggest is addressing the concerns I raised in my previous post then trying again.

    LM317 Pspice

You haven't said what software you're using so how are we supposed to know what the green circle means? There are two things wrong with the circuit: R1 should be 120R or less for the LM317 and the output voltage is set for more than 28V so it will be in drop out; maybe the green circle...

    Element and manufacturer identification?

Yes it's a diode, it's not marked so it's impossible to know the manufacturer or part number. It probably isn't important and it can be replaced with a diode with a high enough current rating. The trouble is you don't know what the current rating is either. My advice is, try replacing it with a...

    LM338 Power Suply Current Regulator

Changing the value will not change the current, the circuit does not provide current regulation, it's just that if the voltage drop across the resistors is very low, the current sharing won't be very good.

    LM338 Power Suply Current Regulator

They help to ensure the current is shared equally between the transistors. The value isn't critical, I chose 0.1R because I originally designed it for high currents, for 5A you can use 1R which will be easier to get hold of.

Best place to buy an air conditioner?

No idea, I supose they don't have to supply you with one, you knew that the place didn't come with one so I suppose you're stuck with it.

replace a laptop motherboard cmos battery

Why not upload the attachments directly rather than using imageshack? Chrome, He's not takling about soldering directly to the battery but to the tabs which are specifically designed to be soldered to. Yes, you can solder to the tabs, just try to do it as quickly as possible, especially with...

Car battery circuit design - comments, feedback?

The battery won't charge fully. A lead acid will slowly charge if the voltage is connected to a 13.8V constant voltage source, it will fast charge if the voltage is charged until the voltage reaches 14.4V then is disconnected or floated at 13.8V to prevent gassing. If the voltage never reaches...

    ghost detector circiut

Good but it isn't a ghost detector which no one knows how to make because it's magic. All of that's really obvious once you understand how the circuit works which you obviously don't. I could explain it to you, as long as you get the idea that it's a ghost detector out of your head first.
