    three phase rectifier voltage issue

You should be getting a 360deg approx 5% ripple sitting on the top. What is the nature of the rectifier and where is your reference point from? M.

    three phase rectifier voltage issue

It appears to be more 1phase than a typical 3 phase output. M.

    three phase rectifier voltage issue

I added a edit in the mean time, as I said the wave form does not look normal other than the spike. M.

    three phase rectifier voltage issue

Is this supplying any load, or just a 3ph rectifier? What is the source of the 3ph? Where are you referencing it to, the wave form is not a normal rectified pattern for 3phase. The should have a 120deg overlap for every cycle. M.

Why relay contact stick even when power off?

As I said, it depends on the environment, as the PDF says they should be opened where possible. M.

Why relay contact stick even when power off?

I always play it safe and open them up, most of the ones I replace are in appliances, oven controls etc, so the environment/air is relatively clean. I don't think light dust would be a problem, considering how small the vent is usually. M.

Why relay contact stick even when power off?

One other thing with these sealed relays, if used in a clean environment, it pays to vent them. Some will have a small pip in the corner or centre of the case that can be cut off, they are sealed initially for flux cleaning etc after production. Using sealed can cause contact erosure or sticking...

    fuses not doing their job

I don't agree that fast acting fuses will not protect surges. Years ago with the popularity of 3ph SCR bridge circuit to drive large spindle and servo motors, these were used across the line and all had rectifier (ultra-fast) fuses, in the event of electrical storms, line surges etc, it was...

    fuses not doing their job

I would also take a reading of the actual power consumed and fuse accordingly, often equip. manuf. over fuse. The standard here in N.A. is generally 1.5x actual peak running current. M.

    fuses not doing their job

Take the number of the fuse you are using and use the same current value, but fast blow, there are also very fast fuses aimed particularly at electronics, called rectifier fuses, these have a very fast sweep through so as to save the subsequent equipment in times of a surge, electrical storm...

    fuses not doing their job

Use a faster sweep through (fast-blo) fuse, try the same current rating first. If you go too light, you could get nuisance blowing. M.

Technical Name For Pellet Diode in Battery Charger

I have a raft of surplus alternator press in type, not sure of the amperage, would have to check. They seem to be rare to find now, probably due to no longer popular use. M.

Technical Name For Pellet Diode in Battery Charger

I don't recognize the compression mount, but It appears rather simple to substitute a simpler style if you do have problems finding the originals.' You may be able to use the press-in/compression mount in a less invasive fashion if you prefer...

Technical Name For Pellet Diode in Battery Charger

Are you sure of the nature of these? Looks like a Stud rectifier, if so, you can get them in thread mount or press-in as found in auto alternators. Look in a IR catalogue etc. Digikey may have them also. In any case, you could sub for the above types quite easily, if in fact rectifier diodes. M.

    Heating Belt for Brewing

They should be OK, they are not made to that close of tolerances. The normal industrial standard is +- 10%. It has been some years, but isn't UK 230v now? M.

    Heating Belt for Brewing

I built myself a brewing cupboard from an old packing crate, holds up to four carboys. A slim under desk leg warmer panel was used to heat it, this is a very thin glass fronted low wattage heater unit. The heater is controlled by wiring up to a ordinary wall mount heating thermostat. Works great. M.

If only 30w you could use one of the dimmer style controls. A ceiling fan version should work at that wattage. M.

    Connection Servo Motor to PC

If using a servo motor, you need a drive and an encoder on the motor, if using a stepper motor, the encoder is not required. For connection to a PC, probably the simplest is to use the free version of Mach3 CNC software. The CNCzone is also a realm of information on the subject. Also the Mach...

    Newbe Help with this schematic

Would Mosfets work better? They operate on almost zero current and relay on voltage to switch. The 2n7000 is cheap. Maybe clamp the gate with a zener. M.
