    Solenoid amperes ???

So do you know if it is AC or DC? , there is alot of difference. Easy If DC just measure the resistance. I never use AC solenoids if at all possible, DC are much more reliable. M.

Dyson DC24 Brush Roller DC Motor PCB

Generally it is not recommended to simply use a resistance meter for armature resistance due to unstable readings at such a low current. The recommended way is to lock the rotor and set up a small DC supply at a known voltage and measure current at different point around the com. The lowest...

Industrial saw burnt out relay repair

In the past I have used copper braid used for de-soldering purposes to repair current carrying tracks, If this is in damp/sawdust area, it would pay to coat the connections after repair with Shellac or Conformal Coating of some kind. M.

    Using Motion Controller with relays

Not really familiar with the Paxton, but if you have the I/O available for the functions you need to control and monitor on the unit in question, then it would seem that you should be able to integrate it into a local hardwired relay logic circuit. As to the motor controller, details on the...

    Using Motion Controller with relays

It would seem that you would wire the door up using hardwired relay logic and use and advisory signal off a relay to advise the Paxton system of its status.. M.

Replace old transformer with rectifier bridge

Technically speaking, equipment that does not use a transformer or safety earth ground conductor is constructed by being 'Double Insulated' for safety reasons. The reason is the circuit is at the same potential as the incoming mains service in spite of dropping the circuit voltage to 12v...

Replace old transformer with rectifier bridge

The Wall Wart usually comes with a barrel connector, snip it off and solder the two ends, 12vdc, to the plus and minus output of the 4 diodes used as a bridge on the previous transformer output. M.

Replace old transformer with rectifier bridge

If the transformer fix fails the 12v Wall-Wart method just needs the two 12v leads in and soldered at the bridge output. Also cheap. M.

Help wiring blower to signal generator!

The way i read it, if using the M (Mechanical) mode, a linear potentiometer can be wired across the three inputs. If using E (Electrical) it mentions PWM. 2 wire input. The description sheet is a little vague! M.
