    You can get a larger version that is 50amps. If in NA you can get them at HD or any electrical supplier. If the 30amp draw is just for a brief period, you May get away with it with the 15a. but it may be a problem with terminating that size of wire. M.

    Measure between 3ph only, I would not normally expect a neutral supplied, just GND. What does it read off and on load? If the machine is rated 415, the lower voltage drives are often fed from a transformer in the enclosure. Is this a CNC machine? M.

    That doesn't make sense, unless you constantly change the reference point from one to the other, they are two legs of a single phase supply. As mentioned, you can do it with a 1:1 transformer. M.

    A SMPS supply will also work with a buck/boost transformer, in fact any lower higher voltage device. But SMPS are usually various input voltages, the OP mentioned Linear supply. But using the buck/boost principle is a little redundant. Max.

    If I understand your intended connections, any transformer used would have to be the same Va. Going to that extent, you might as well substitute the original with a transformer of the correct voltage. M.

    Look at darlington arrays such as ULN2803 and 2n7000 for single switching. M.

    So is there any kind of inhibit on the controller, what make? If no inhibit, you should ensure zero speed first before reverse, it is also easier on the drive. M.

    I assume this is a SCR bridge controller? Are you using the contacts to switch the motor or reverse it, because the best scenario is to do what Manuf such as KB/Baldor do and turn the motor off with a Inhibit input, this also has the effect of causing the drive to come up through acceleration...

    The diode on the BB in the video looks no larger than a 1n7000 series, also in the opening statement he mentioned both Mosfets are logic level, only the 2n7000 is, the IRF9540 is a little overkill at >20amps. M.
