    One website, http://www.datasheetcafe.com/lta803n-datasheet-nxp/ , hints at the LTA803n chip also being referred to as TEA1753T and had a datasheet available. The pinouts, at least, are the same. Maybe it would give you something to go off of, pharaon.

    Also, I just re-read post 17 and realized that you said the 330V you measured was DC? Again, I'm a complete noob with this stuff, but what is the point of increasing the DC voltage to that amount when the goal is to get a 19VDC output?

    I'm super new at this, so take this with a grain of salt, but my understanding is that the transformer is supposed to convert AC to DC with the help of a rectifier. What voltage is going into the transformer and what voltage is coming out?

    Try using the charger in a room that is on a different breaker than your room. If it doesn't cause the power to fluctuate it may just be the wiring in the house that is at fault.

    Thanks for the info, 73's de Edd. The board is now fully reinstalled and each of the capacitors does, indeed, show roughly 165vdc. Probing from the far left (positive) side of one cap to the far right (negative) side of the other cap only shows about the same 165vdc though.
