    I dont think the speed problem is the LED, its the photovoltaic cell, you need 1ns!

    It finishes off with the direct battery connection. (You can make an oscillator with opto-couplers.)

    It does. if youve got a 1000x1000 screen it only takes 60 megahertz to hit every pixel 60 times a second, so its easily done with one wire. If you had a 10,000x10,000 screen, then it would be 6,000 megahertz, out of the range of cheap transistors, but I guess professional ones could do it...

    When you want to make a gigahert oscillator, I see on the internet that transistors only rise in megahertz not gigahertz. (But that could be bulldust... oc) But I was wondering what the switching speed of optocouplers would be? It could be faster. So its an led, next to a photovoltaic cell...

    The only need for a parallel protocol would be a high speed camera, monitors would never need it because we only see at about ~60hz. :)

    Nope, its got nothing to do with it... my computer is 100% quantum free. Quantum mechanics doesn't make much sense to me the way its explained, but it seems come to an ordinary electrical schematic the same? I need to see inside this thing.

    We mean what isnt dissipated, stays in the battery. Batteries last longer if you dont short them.

    Pots actually have 2 outputs, one the inverse of the other. (The input is in the middle.) I spose the input and output being swapped probably useful as well.

    tee-hee =) P.S. is q1 and q2 a latch? - i forgot to make my explanation one, mine would just temporarily fire the led when the sound was there, but wouldnt stay on like a switch, I actually dont know how to make a transistor only latch yet, except with an led and cad sul resistor.

    I know a solution to this, short to a capacitor before you go to the base of the transistor, and itll act as a timer, only once the capacitor is filled will the transistor turn on. But youll have to put a 10k resistor around the cap to make sure it empties itself, and it'll only work with...

    I cant proove it to you, it seems that you'll have to work it out yourself in your own time, but I promise u it is possible!! I could draw up the circuits, its not complicated. The logic is the easy thing, the engine that runs it (the oscillator) is harder in my opinion.
