    Help with Digiplex DGP-848 setup

Not the first time I've heard this expression used. I had equal difficulty with a programmable telephone exchange that had me writing my own manual as I stumbled through, try to decipher it. The required skill for authors of such instructions seems to be ignored when asking for relevant...

LED Lights should we see the Watts or PPFD for Indoor Grow

That's an awful lot of Google research for an initial, first-time visitor 'bot' post......

    PCIe to GoPro?

If it's 'looks' you want then unscrew the VX1000 lens and put the GoPro behind it....... Well........ maybe :) There's two issues here (1) nostalgia - which seems to mean keeping the Firewire interface, sourcing 'unknown' hardware and commissioning unwritten (as yet) software..... or (2) using...

    PCIe to GoPro?

Seriously? 1/3" CCD and 410k pixels (less than 800x600). It might have been a decent camera in its day but that 'day' was nearly 30 years ago now. We have much better resolution, much better sensitivity, much better functionality in fact 'much better everything'...... If you want to do this...

    PCIe to GoPro?

I'm still puzzled. You want to use a GoPro as the camera but you also want a 'small' portable recording system to go with it - non-PC based to keep the size down? The SD/WiFi option (assuming the GoPro takes an SD card?) would work as will this method: Video onto the 'portable' device...

    PCIe to GoPro?

Forget Firewire - it's old tech and not in common use any more. Get an SD card with wifi built in and stream the GoPro straight to whatever device you want - your mobile phone if you want portability...

Whirlpool Side by Side American style Fridge Freezer too hot and too cold

I don't seen anything that's particularly 'serpentine' - tracks make electrical connections from point-to-point and will 'wander' where ever they need to achieve that - designers try not to make too many topside wire links so the tracks may go 'all over the place' to get where they need to be...

    Ignition for moped

Your original post wasn't entirely clear as to the issue you're facing but I understood this to be that your current system is 'switched on permanently' (causing the FET to blow) if the stator stops where the hall effect device is. The FET (or whatever switching component you use) should be...

    help choose hygrometer

I'm not your mother nor your nanny. Do your own research. Sellers will indicate if they can provide a calibration certificate and also tell you the cost. If YOU are incapable of doing the research then have you heard of Google?

    correct wiring

It's correct and will not overheat - unless there is a problem with the lights themselves but that seems unlikely.

    correct wiring

Your reply is a bit convoluted but I think you've 'got it'. One (the brown) goes to the turret with the white/red in it and the pother (blue) goes to the one with white/blue in it. You should be able to unscrew the turret 'thing' and twist the bare wires together and then screw the turret back...

    Walkman CASIO AS-620R buzzing noise

Nothing to do with the tape head. Most likely due to the suppression capacitor across the tape drive motor. Not easy to determine given a simple description of the noise!

    Education & Jobs in Electronics

There are many routes in electronics that can have large bearing on your lifestyle. My route began in the marine industry as a radio officer with a large shipping company. This took me all over the world as I was responsible for ship-shore comms and the maintenance of all the electronics...

    help choose hygrometer

Purchase one that has a calibration certificate with it. On another tack, why are you so concerned over the humidity levels that you need to know to a 'precision' level?

    correct wiring

Follow the AC mains wire going in. It 'splits' and goes to two plastic 'turret' screw connectors, one with a red wire in it and one with a blue. Connect your brown and blue to the red and blue respectively.

    Ignition for moped

The hall effect device should trigger a one-shot monostable. These do not default to 'permanently on' when the trigger signal 'stalls'.
