    To what purpose? The transmitter can be 'active' or 'inactive' by using the /CS line. i.e. ground the CS pin to transmit, leave open to stop.

    ..which is too small to read. If it is simply corrosion then unless the corroded part has been totally lost then clewaning it should restore operation. Either way, you can simply replace the corroded parts 1 for 1 and the schematic will identify their values.

    Not really - the transients may well affect other parts of the circuitry causing weird faults in a digital sense but it's not going to harm the PSU.
