    High Voltage Direct Current

No one does, of course, but there are few decisions and consequences that can't be reversed given enough time. The effects of oil spills, nuclear war even - time is a great healer. Our saviour isn't going to be 'energy' as such. Room temperature super-conductors is what's holding us back. As...

    Generac Smart Management Module Dead

Assuming the fuse (brown block at the AC input terminals) is ok the DC or AC will pass through to the bridge rectifier located to the left of L1. The DC should also appear on the +/- terminals on the other side of the bridge rectifier. I suspect, because of the heat you're noticing, that this...

Help needed in connecting coin slot mech to usb joystic controller power for triggering game start

With a set of no-volts contacts you simply determine whether the micro port is a pull-up or pull-down (usually) input then connect the contacts to the port via a resistor from the supply rail to ground. Google 'pull-up' and/or 'pull-down' for more details.

Circuit from "Watch Winder" doesn't turn on the motors.

An astable running at a low frequency based on the 555 device would suffice BUT this depends on the motor speed. If the motor speed UNREGULATED is too fast then you'll have to include another circuit to deliver the necessary pulses to slow them down. Another 555 astable at a couple kHz applied...

Circuit from "Watch Winder" doesn't turn on the motors.

That's suspect in the first place - the motor is clearly labelled for 3V operation and might have been damaged by the application of 12V. What, precisely, does that board do then? (or what is it meant to do?). <edit> I quickly figured this out, see below. If the motors 'work' when 12V is...

help to fix my broken inverter

Fixing it is one thing but the fact that it isn't a pure sinewave should be of more concern as the modified sine wave could be causing damage to the equipment you're powering. Pure sine wave inverters have fallen dramatically in price and you really should consider this an opportunity to change...

Circuit from "Watch Winder" doesn't turn on the motors.

You might have a point! Looks to me as if there should be a regulator fitted on the board (78L05 and the diode D1) to provide a 5V supply to the IC.

Circuit from "Watch Winder" doesn't turn on the motors.

What type is the integrated circuit? PIC perhaps? There is no onboard voltage regulation so that chip had better have a wide power acceptance range..... Do you have the schematic? It woould be unusual for ALL the transitors to fail so the driver chip MUST be the issue.

    High Voltage Direct Current

'Self destruction'? Not really. Circumstantial changes and/or external events seem to be the most common cause. Those 'civilisations' (like the Myan etc) were really only localised populations - basically large villages - and not as we would consider a civilisation as currently exists i.e...

    Logitech MX keys fast discharge

Since you have two working units you can power them both and compare measurements at points in the circuitry (say the onboard regulators etc) and report the results (or figure it out from there yourself).

    Bias_T and inductor resistance

Multifunction measuring instruments all have limitations and devices dedicated to such 'individual' components tend to be far more accurate. For 'small' measurements this is particularly noticeable and inductors as well as capacitors are commonly notoriously difficult to measure using...

Can anyone help me please for this

Serial numer 001.......... That could prove interesting/valuable... The pictures you posted don't give enough details though. What is a stepper motor doing inside a clock - a clock that doesn't appear to have the physical space to have those boards fitted in the first place...

    Learning about DVR Camera modules?

There are different kinds of thieves. Nothing you do will stop a determined thief from stealing your stuff so the best way to prevent it happening is either securely locking the stuff away or not making its presence known in the first place. All a camera will do is record the theft happening...

    Learning about DVR Camera modules?

Not sure why a 'covert' camera is your intention....??? Why not simply use a 'nromal' camera which will not only record any theft but act as a visual deterrent.

    High Voltage Direct Current

Undoubtedly does BUT it's not a linear (or logarithmic) progression nor does it come without feedback to compensate/mitigate (else the world would have burned up a long time ago). Human emissions pale to insignificance in the global effect CO2 has and should be ignored for all practical...
