    Ic30 5v supply is referenced to DAgnd, not Dgnd. Dgnd has a bank of capacitors between it and DAgnd. Look into how the grounds converge. PS: please note what page you're on so I don't have to hunt for it.

    That's great. Just a matter of looking at the print from the perspective of what your trying to power up. So if you get that monitor hooked up, it may lend some insight as to making sure this thing is set-up properly. So, all is well with the power supply world now?

    SMPS on Page 109. If your still reading ~8.8v with respect to dgnd (where it should be 5.2v), I suspect either ZD114 zener diode or IC116 regulator may be toast. If that's where we're at, unsolder one leg of ZD114 and recheck the voltage.

    No, a TV monitor. This thing is like a computer and I think you should look at what the AVR is telling you when it sends a message to the TV display. We may be looking for signals on the boards when software conditions might be a prerequisite to getting those signals.

    (Looking at Page 117) So, Tr16 isn't getting turned on. It should have 6.6v at its base when Tr17 is switched on via CPU power. So CPU power is a requirement to get SWM3.3 and SWM5v.
