    No! The capacitor you need is 30uF. This is not a filter capacitor , where more is better. It's for phase shifting, so the value is important. The voltage in an inductive load can peak higher than you line voltage. Go with the 30uF/370VAC one. Ken

    What IC inverters have you been looking at? Ones with "open collector" or "open drain" outputs need a pull-up resistor between the output and Vcc to get a high output with a low input. Ken
