    Have you considered a microwave oven turntable mechanism with further reduction (if necessary) by belts and pulleys?

    Use the 'Upload a file' button and browse to the wanted file. Keep graphics files below 1Mbyte and preferably use .png format for circuits. If you run a sim you can post the .asc file.

    That's what you should get. Here's a sim, where S1 and S2 represent the FETs : Edit: If you replace the resistors with the two halves of a centre-tapped transformer winding then, for the reasons Duke gives, you should get close to 24VAC between A and B.

    Perhaps he could be persuaded to pay compenstion for any damage you can prove to be due to use of those chemicals.

    You could place a sacrificial circuit board, from some defunct gadget, close to the chemical sources, wait a month or so and then examine it for evidence of corrosion. But why not just use less aggressive cleaning materials if you are concerned about their corrosive effect? Most people wouldn't...

    The degree of dissipation depends on many things, including distance between source and target, temperature, ventilation, humidity.

    Hard to tell from such tiny pics, but it looks like a standard barrel connector. They come in various sizes, so you need to know the diameters of the barrel and the internal pin.

    If you have acidic fumes in the room air then yes, they can cause corrosion. They won't do your lungs any good either!

    What is your 2.5V-3V input source? To get 5V at 3A output from a boost converter the source will have to provide about 6A. Can it do that?
