Using this magnetic sensor as a wakeup sensor

I think R19/20 could each be at least 10k without any adverse effect. If you use the LMV324S, it has a shut-down feature which would conserve a bit of energy.

That would depend on several factors, e.g the programmer's skill, EM screening, electrical noise in the vicinity, power outages, supply decoupling, cooling, component tolerances and stresses, ........

Using this magnetic sensor as a wakeup sensor

Typically, but only for the 1021/1022. Which IC do you have? Probably. Then the 10mA figure would relate to a supply voltage closer to the maximum.

Using this magnetic sensor as a wakeup sensor

There's no way you can reduce the IC's10mA per bridge current requirement significantly. Can't you use a different IC? It doesn't look suitable as a wake-up sensor, unless you are really forced to sense very low magnetic field strengths.

    Help with circuit

Depending on the inductance of the solenod, 50ms may not be long enough to allow the current to build up sufficiently for the solenoid to pull in.

Relay That Toggles On & Off With No Hold Current

I bet the relay module shown requires continuous current to keep it in one of its two states :(.

    9v oscillator to dc motor

Welcome to EP! If you had a DPDT relay you could eliminate the H-bridge :). A relay with a 5V rated coil should operate correctly at 5V. Sounds like yours is incorrectly rated or faulty.

Help with a very simple rc circuit..

I think you'll find the base current needed to switch the transistor fully on will drain the cap rather too quickly, unless the transistor is a Darlington type..

Building an analogue wind direction meter

Agreed. Otherwise there could be a 180 degree ambiguity. I wonder if a tunnel closed at one end but with a non-axial vent might do the job, like this : Any aerodynamiciists out there to confirm if air-flow inside the tunnel would be different if air externally, of a given speed, were in...

Building an analogue wind direction meter

Perhaps a bit of non-linearity of directional response when using an array of sensors would be no big deal for the TS's purpose. A bit of signal processing could probably correct it to some extent if required. I was thinking a bunch of thermistors in respective 'tunnels', differently oriented...

Building an analogue wind direction meter

Then they will all be cooled the same amount. Ok if you are interested only in wind speed, but how would this arrangement enable wind direction to be determined? I think you'd have to shield them so that they are exposed differently.
