    35W @ 117VAC also means 35W @ whatever the unit uses so assuming a 9-0-9 transformer (total 18V) this would be at 2A (36W but near enough). Larger is ok but only if your pockets are deep enough........

    ....after a fruitless search I couldn't find the schematic for the KR350 but other types of similar keyboards use transformers with MULTIPLE secondaries so I would doubt whether yours has a single secondary either - which makes posting pics that much more important.

    Not quite sure why you would want to use an electronic starter at all anyway. If I was at all bothered about 'quick' starting I'd be replacing the tube themselves with LED versions. New fluorescent tubes with the bog-standard starters usually light up at first flicker (or maybe the second)...

    If all you want is a fully-open or fully closed condition then send either 10V or zero volts to the device. All you require is a 10V source that can be derived from the 24V using a simple regulator or even a zener diode.

    Note that all those controls have one side grounded. Often this ground may include a connection to the body of the variable control (metal casing of the potentiometer). In any case you need to confirm that the ground is attached and continuous throughout the wiring as 'lifting' the ground...

    The fuse protects the wire and nothing else. If the fuse is rated at 10A then so is the cable - else they have 'broken the rules' on cable selection and/or fusing. I very much doubt they'd risk litigation by not complying with the regs associated with low voltage DC wiring.
