    sound amplification

    I am gonna go out on a limb here and say that any microphone that can pick up footsteps 2 floors away is also gonna pick up noise made by you a lot less then 2 floors away. I don't see how you are gonna distinguish the sounds you want from the sounds you don't.

    this is really quite simple, larger fans move more volume with less disturbance == quieter. So you kill two birds with one stone. Beat the heat and the noise.

    The third link clearly states autotransformers are the problem. As long as you buy an appropriate transformer with the coils isolated to each other this would be a moot point. edit: doh, I feel dumb now, always read all post, davenn beat me to it by 5 hours

    Yes I believe you can use the aurdino as a ADC but I am not so sure it is as simple as you make it sound.

    You will get better results hands down with a directional antenna, no doubt about it. How exactly does UV affect your reception? I don't ever recall reading about this.

    Why are you trying to reinvent the wheel? There has been plenty of good usable dunk tanks in existence for years and none of those tried to combine electro-mechanical devices with lots of water.

    I would say you need to create it. It must have been someone else's constant variable if they followed standard convention. But I am not really sure what the code is trying to do, so I don't really have a guess on what the variable would have been exactly. I don't know too much asm
