    I don't really think that board got wet. I have seen computer boards that got wet and normally the damage is much more visible and worse. As long as you have a warranty then I wouldn't worry to much about it till it really becomes a problem. Here is to hoping you stay warm.

    I haven't read the whole thread, but this is why they earth casings containing 'HOT' electrical wires. Simply because you can not fully 110% guarantee that the hot wire will never touch the casing. If it does and some human touches the casing and gets zapped it may well be their last time...

    You know by looking at the datasheet. Once you know the physical pinout, Then constructing a schematic with real parts is easy. Just don't fall in to the trap that your physical circuit needs to look like the schematic to work, all that matters is the connections from one part to the other.
