    Ok got it! if I want to have 3milliamps divide 12.5/0.003 = resistor of 4166ohm resistor on the pin 7 to ground

    Ok yes only need audio processing side because can control the LED brightness with the resistor on pin 7 of the LM3914's gottcha!

    Good news people, I have finished the left half bridge (left hand side of the H-bridge) completed and will be taking some photos of it on monday when I can use a camera! PROGRESS!! I know its taken ages but the efforts are becoming fruitful

    oh I've never worked with buck converters I'm looking them up! oh I see an LRC circuit decrease the voltage increase the current buck converters are cool!

    you could try a voltage divider for the 24v dc and make it so that it puts out 5v dc for the rasberry pi, with only resistors. the 220v from the wall will have lowered it to 5v anyway because it's an adapter

    but I dont know if it's possible to use muxxing with this idea, ie in conjuntion with LM3914
