    Help with DC power: power banks fail but adapter works?!!

    I'd take a look at the AC/DC adapters that aren't working. The barrel jacks (if that's what they use) to supply power come in different barrel/pin diameter sizes. It's possible that the power connectors for those adapters are a different size, and therefore not making proper connections.

    The 'pitch' is the distance between pins. It's very important that you get that distance correct. There are a lot of connectors out there with different spacing between connector pins.

    Yeah, I don't know if this is a classroom theoretical question or a practical application question, but hevans1944 said what matters in practical application. The composition of the capacitor at higher frequencies is what matters.
