    And be careful with those zener diodes at high voltage they are prone to thermal runaway. Research pros and cons of zener diodes used as voltage regulators

    Wait a second! If it's a 110 adapter like a common wall wart a 110 VAC to 4.8vDC adapter then NO! you will not be able to use it in Europe.

    If you have wire nuts that would be great they usually use for AC if you're a DIY kind of guy. If you do not have the wire nuts in the above picture then that's no problem.
