    Toggle uses a different TOG pin (see the datasheet). The output would triggler a relay, mechanical or solid state. If the output isn't enough to trigger that, you'd have the output driving the base of a transistor with power input switched by it to drive the relay.

    A voltage measurement would be between K0 and ground or K1 and ground, not between K0 and K1. Similarly your powered load (fans or LEDs, etc) is connected to K0 and ground.

    ^ You mean the switches I linked previously? Measure for 12V on the relay output pin when it has clicked on. Check for continuity between that pin and the output connector terminal you have the fan hooked up to. I assume your power supply is capable of 2A?
