    Send us a link to where you found this formula. One purpose of connecting capacitor like that is to attenuate the input signal (Sine Wave). Think of it like a voltage divider for A.C, just like resistors are used for D.C. But you can do the same thing with resistors for A.C but not capacitors...

    What do you get when you join your meter wires together? Say 0.3 Ohms each wire will give you 0.6 Ohms + your resistor value. Adam

    The first thing you need is a flyback diode across the relay to protect the MOSFET. When you say back EMF, where is the motor? Is it the other inductor. What voltage are you trying to limit? Thanks Adam
