    I agree with Hop. I doubt it uses any oil. I'd grease the zerk fittings and call it good. The only non-grear reduction type motors I've seen that take oil use an oil cap over the bearings and use 3 in 1 oil.

    To be clear, a single 20a breaker could be used to feed the existing wiring and then pigtail the receptacle with 12awg to it. But you can't use two individual breakers on one duplex. Also should be noted this 20a outlet must only serve the washer.

    Your probably wanting an infrared type because of the long distance. If you can use a separate reflector, or two switches (one sends light and the other receives) you'll get more reliable results if the distance from switch from target keeps changing.

    I don't understand what you mean by "-ve polarity" You need to know the polarity (+ or -) of your ps and should verify if the positive is in the inside or outside. Use a dvm to measure it or show us a picture of your power supply.

    Why do you care as long as the outer jacket has the same diameter? If the internal conductor has a larger area and the insulation size is the same, that's a "win, win" to me. Oh btw, look into whether that's tin coated copper or aluminum wire. Huge difference in the ampacity.

    Post a pic of the end of the cable. You may be able to just cut off the bad section of wire and resplice it.

    I didn't see a schematic on that link but I would hook it up to match the polarity of the 9v adapter. usually the center is positive and outside in negative which is usually ground. So, just double check the polarity of what your plugging into it and wire it to match polarity.
