    What was the filesize and type that you were trying to upload? Most filetypes/sizes should work, but as Steve says, it could be too large.

    Hi Duke, I'm not sure why the forums aren't keeping you logged in, but I agree with all of Harald's suggestions and hopefully it's something as simple as a cookie problem. Have you ticked the little box to the left of the login button? This should keep you logged in.

    Another vote to run MBAM (free) from Raven Luni's link - it sounds like you've got some malware on your PC. There should never be ads for members on this site - so if there's anything appearing it could be an infection that injects ads on to sites while you browse.

    What's with the 'Ads By Google' all the time now?

    There shouldn't be any advertising on the site for members - I've checked the coding and everything looks ok at this end. It may be worth running a malware scan to double check for an infection. I know that some malware apps can inject advertising in to pages.
