    What IC is that?

The timing for older clocks was often established from the incoming mains supply (50/60Hz depending on your country). The IC might be something like the 5316.... Many, many ways to skin that particular cat!

Help how to calculate a LED wall 10 M2

If the module is stated to be 800W then the supply (assuming it is entirely 5V driven) would indeed be rated at 160A. You could drive the LEDs in a different fashion - higher voltage - to reduce the amperage but it'll always consume 800W no matter what combination of V and I you decide to use...

    HT9032D

Pdwn will be either controlled by the processor (if you want to set the device to low-power when not in use) or can be hard-wired to the appropriate logic level if external control isn't required.

Old CRT video intercom system - powers on, no video signal

Given the application there are many signals passing through that cable/plug. Not only video but audio, power, lock activation, call button etc.... there's even a (small) possibility that the video might have separate synchronising signals - horizontal and vertical - but I'd find that to be...

Trouble with Projects Unlimited 12V programmable buzzer

The only way to discover if the device is faulty would be to connect another one! It could just be 'dud'. Can you get a test meter into the power line and measure the current being drawn?

    HT9032D

Can you show how you've ACTUALLY interfaced the HT.... to the Arduino? and tell us which application schematic you used (1, 2 or 3)

    Exhaust Switch Project HELP!!

Servo motors would foot the bill. These are small geared motors who's position is set by a 'pulse' signal that is easily generated using a simple 555 circuit. You can use a variable resistor (potentiometer) to set the servo gear position to anything you like from fully open to fully closed OR...

Trouble with Projects Unlimited 12V programmable buzzer

The datasheet (from Mouser) doesn't mention compatibility with Win10...... Does the port you're using support the 350mA required to drive the device? Silly question - did you follow the recommended installation instructions to the letter...

Ozone generator unable to reset"Service light"

I suspect that the repeated build up of dust has left deposits that air-blowing aren't getting rid of thus the reset function is not working. Have you tried dismantling the relevant surfaces and cleaning with IPA?

Ozone generator unable to reset"Service light"

You don't give the make/model of the ozone generator...... ....but, if, as you claim, the manufacturers put a time limit in the coding then they did that for a good reason. Do you know what that reason may be? Perhaps running them beyond the manufacturers set time limit is dangerous???? You...

Wanted: L265 Raytheon (Ray Marine) power cable.

Yep, I've 'converted' a good many pieces of equipment in that ^ way as not only do the manufacturers deliberately make them 'manufacturer specific' they do tend to be difficult to source on the after-market scene. An IP68 gland with a dab of silicon will be just as good. Cut the original...

Laptop won’t turn on, short circuit?

I'm thinking: 3.5mm stereo plug???? into PS/2 socket??? (maybe)? and wondering how that was even possible!

...from Raytheon....? It would help if you actually showed us the socket in question.....

Old CRT video intercom system - powers on, no video signal

That's a loss of video sync signal - possible an adjustment on the rear of the unit (horizontal hold). You could apply the camera signal to the 'yellow' phono plug input on the back of many (but not all) TV sets to prove the camera is working.

Can I use resistor instead of pot with LM386?

Use a PRESET potentiometer and set the volume how you need it to be - at least you can easily change the volume of there are problems in the future. Some presets are hardly larger than the resistors you'd otherwise be using.

Help to create a circuit to prevent register loss on temporary voltage drops.

Look at the circuits surrounding NVRAM used in all PC's (BIOS) - it comprises a simple battery and diode(s) that both charge the battery (in some cases) and provide the necessary standby current when powered down.
