    Power supply for AMP in CAR

    The diodes are for spike protection to prevent the transistors from burning when the field colapses in the transformer windings. If you look at a good circuit involving a relay you will see a protection diode across the coil for this reason.

    Remote Controlled Lawn Mower

    Mine had a swivel wheel on the back to make it stand up. To control left and right all you had to do is hit the switch and it would put on the break for one wheel. This would turn the lawn mower. If you put on the left break it turns right if you put on the right break it turns left.

    Zapco Used no MOSFET in their old Power supplies. Here is their Diagram. The problem with this one is it uses PNP and I already have about 150 Transistors 2N3055. The transformer is special made and hard to find.

    Look for any wires that go in to the amplifier. If one shield wire is broken there will be a hum. Also a bad mic will cause a hum. If that does not work then you should look at the capacitors in the power supply section of the amplifier. Also You could spray the controls with some contact...
