    Chokes

You need to look at the use of ferrite beads for the low MHz range. Each signal line may need one. Also as Harald mentioned Layout and incorrect decoupling or insufficient decoupling won't help either. Adam

    Sensorless BLDC motor driven synchronously.....hrmmm...

A few things I am thinking of is Jerky start up, not knowing if the magnet is north or south, getting the phase right so you push the magnet at the correct time. If you are just energising the coil in one direction will this not limit your speed. Adam

How to switch off an audio signal

Yes looks like it will work. You could use this to short the mic to ground as mentioned by Externet. But depends on your amp circuit but we don't know what you using. Adam

How to switch off an audio signal

Shame on the other Forums. You come to the right one, you will not get this on here. I mean that, this is not what EP is about. If you do please let me know. Adam

How to switch off an audio signal

Hello can you just explain it again. What do you mean one of the wires pass through the switch. Adam

    Induction cooker pans?

Great conclusion. Yes higher frequecy must be it for copper. I think I mentioned that earlier. Put to bed I think. Good discusion Merlin thankyou. Adam

2 pole low frequency shelving filter design

Hello Northy Yes you can, but you can also connect a capacitor to the bottom of R15 to isolate any D.C. Where is your filter components? Adam

    Evaporative Air Con PCB

Hi Chris Yes they look fine. It is better to have the component in place than not at all. Adam

    Evaporative Air Con PCB

Probably for a bit of filtering / noise suppression. This should be a Y-Rated capacitor if the appliance has an earthed metal case. Ceramic types tend to go short circuit when they fail which is why the fuse popped. Take a close picture of the capacitor, we might be able to find one for you. Adam

    Induction cooker pans?

Ok so this is the only other thing I can offer. After that it becomes a much more difficult problem for me and I would have to do some more research. When we think about the current in a wire and the heat generated due to the Joules/s losses we tend to think about voltage current and...

Is Nickel Plated Stainless Steel Resistant to Ammonium Persulfate Etching

It is a peroxgen so it can disolve metal. Like copper, Iron , zinc and oh yeah nickel. Adam

Need help with calculations for a ribbon speaker cable!

So this is the problem then. I was hoping you would say this. The reason for the low inductance is simple if there are two conductors in parallel current on one will induce a current on the other (Faradays Law). The coupled currents will flow in the opposite direction, this is Lenz law. the...
