    Soil moisture sensor

I recall seeing soil moisture sensors as part of Arduino-like kits - they offer this assurance... At $4.95, certainly worth a punt....https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13322

    Need assistance identifying this component

Looks like a simple insulated connecting post to me. It's unlikely to be the cause of fuse failure. Check the main bridge rectifier, the smoothing capacitor(s) and the main switching transistor (< the usual suspect). Can you show a picture of where it came from? It just appears to have...

    Mini Cameras

You're asking a lot.... most would just dump them and get working items as they are very highly integrated i.e. unless the damage is physical then the potential for internal (IC or camera module) damage is high and not repairable anyway.

    Power-One power supply mod

120VA??? Two secondary windings at 28V gives you around 1A per winding (no idea what S3 is but it can only DECREASE the available current for S1 and S2). If you only want a PSU with limited current output then that's fine but for the original design (3A?) that transformer won't meet the needs.

Winding 4 Axis CPU BLDC Motor Stator

Copy the existing winding arrangement or, as most others would do, fit another fan.

    Looking for Guidance

You're approaching this from too 'deep' into the electronics. Instead of looking at the signals post-processing (PIC output) you need to be looking at the way the error (lamp detection) is done - according to the manual these are 'bi-metal', 'suction temperature' and 'exhaust temperature'...

What's spice? Is that another name for coke? If it is then.... HELL YEAH Bro!

If they were LED the batteries would last a lot longer in the first place.

    Question about transistor

D'oh. As much as I read your posts I read OVER the use of 'definitions'..... trying to keep it too simple. I take your point.

Need help finding replacement transformer for oven control board

Darlington and op-amp on that board, yes, but the ribbon cable links to another board with circuitry to drive a 7-segment display array so there will be 5V somewhere..... perhaps? Would need to see the component side of the second board to verify.

    Question about transistor

The same 'result' occurs whether you apply a fixed or an alternating (variations) signal so your original statement.... is wrong.

    Old cctv camera repair

At $33 for a replacement is it really worth repairing? http://knoppix.net/store/Magnavox-Mc3511-Al02-Observation-Camera-Mc3511al02_121483171593.html

Need help finding replacement transformer for oven control board

The secondary consists of two separate windings, potentially 0-9 and 0-9 (or, as they are wired 9-0-9). The use of 9V means as a simple rectified-to-DC output it provides the 12V for the relay operation bt the other 9V isn't too high as to make too much demand on a 5V regulator (dissipation -...

    Question about transistor

??? a fixed base current (in a BJT) results in a fixed but AMPLIFIED current in the c-e circuit.

Need help finding replacement transformer for oven control board

If it was possible to determine the secondary voltages you could purchase many small transformers that could bold to the board and be wired into position. It would even be possible to mount a transformer off-board somewhere (safe) and take flying leads to the secondary connection points. One...

    Huntron Tracker 2000

Value? Whatever anyone who has a use for it would be willing to pay. Personally I'd give you $10 for it - and scrap it for the parts. Very limited use, very restricted market, useless for 99.999% of amateur use. You'd be VERY hard pressed to find a buyer. One of those pieces of kit that the...

    300 V DC Power Supply

Read the article - the transformer is hand wound but not many turns so easily made and the core can be 'practically' any ferrite material.
