    Getting Feedback on Flow Sensor

Suggest one lead of the flow meter goes to ground, the other (signal) lead goes to 12V via a resistor and you take the measurement signal from the resistor leg connected to the transducer. It's only a two-wire sensor and one must be ground. The only other way to get power and a signal is via a...

Using arduino and I2C to control an AX2358 6 channel volume control chip

You seem to be on the right track. Extracting the code only depends on whether or not they implemented any code protection on the device - it may even be a OTP device (mask programmed) and potentially unreadable.... only you will know! Does the AX2385 datasheet reveal the full code set for...

    Super bright led light

Look for a masthead lamp - on boats they are used as 'anchor lights' - all-round white. They are built for external conditions, have 360 degree visibility and are available in LED format. Most work on 12V though (some on 24V) but you can add a simple AC-DC power pack for mains operation. UK...

    Light switch

Even rodents can cause this type of issue. A registered electrician should be able to isloate and repair the faults - they are too non-specific for us to work through.

    Car's RELAY

Do you still have the original relay? There's a practise called 'stuffing' where original, hard-to-find, replacement parts are dismantled (carefully) and the defective innards are replaced with their modern, more reliable, component parts. Properly done you can't tell the difference and they...

Dc motor - SCR - BR help.

No. That device is a controller for AC motors, not DC. The motor is wired in series with the AC mains supply and controller. Fitting a bridge rectifier (to convert it to DC) won't work (properly) as the AC waveform is necessary for the speed controlling circuit to work.

Trigger Try Me button with motion sensor

I'm guessing that this is just a pair of wires that you short together to activate the device. In which case an PIR sensor that has 'no-volts' contacts (or zero-volts contacts as some call them) can connect to those wires. The PIR output will have the 'relay contacts' inside it. These...

Dc motor - SCR - BR help.

Well it's a 400W speed controller and you're connecting it to a 750W motor...... although it may get the motor spinning, as soon as you load the motor (press on the sand belt) the current consumption may exceed the capacity of the speed controller and, at best, blow the fuse. At worst, blow the...

    Help needed building Plasma Speaker

To illustrate/demonstrate the basic principles circuit 1 is adequate but don't expect 'miracles' from it i.e. hi fidelity etc.

Dc motor - SCR - BR help.

Do you have the full spec of (or a link to) the speed controller? It would appear that all you need do is connect the mains supply input and the motor to the output. The bridge rectifier is not required.

    Help needed building Plasma Speaker

RC1 would be chosen to bring the LC circuit formed by the transformer primary and capacitor to resonance and the frequency of output from the 555 should be made to match for maximum efficiency.

Difference? Regular resistor and a current limiting resistor?

All resistors limit current. That's their purpose. The product of their resistance and the current flowing through them create the volt drop across them. Basic Ohm's Law.

    9volt battery

A standard PP3 has around 500mAhr capacity so 20 minutes is as good as it gets from them. You could carry a set of rechargeable Lithium-iron 9V batteries and swap out as required - four of them used in conjunction with a 1 or 2-hour fast charger should keep you going indefinitely. Lithium 9V...
