3+3watt Speaker set DYI need advice!

I thought the USB was just for charging the battery, didn't notice the other USB Cheers Adam

    Cuk converter ripple current

Oh ok so I think you need to be looking at the rate of change of current over time. And this can be used for both the capacitor and the inductor. As this is homework I can't just give you the answer. But you need to look at the voltage across the inductor and the on time of the MOSFET and the %...

PWM signal with 50ns freq. Step

Hi Max Ok so myself and Bok were correct the first time? So It's not a sine-wave, it's a digital signal. You are confusing me a bit with saying you have a set 47% duty Cycle but then want steps??? What are you actually trying to do, what is the project? Are you controlling some motor or...

    Thermostaticizing

    Yes F is frequency, why would Pi be involved? Adam Edit: Oh Ok as it's you C = I / (dV*(314.159 / (2*pi)) :)

    Thermostaticizing

Yep you work out C3 by knowing how much your willing to let the current in the LED fall between mains cycles. Or how much voltage droop on the cap. C = I /(dV*F) Adam

    Cuk converter ripple current

Do you have a circuit diagram we can see. It's just the Cuk converter has two inductors and offers a very clean D.C output. So 10% ripple seems quite high. Also should that be 15% ripple current? and not ripple converter. This seems quite low? Adam

3+3watt Speaker set DYI need advice!

Seems reasonable. The only issue I can see is I don't think the step up converter can supply enough current to drive the amplifier when turned up-to max it's only rated at 0.5 A. Also I don't know if that little boost converters supply lines will be clean enough so as not to interfere with the...

PWM signal with 50ns freq. Step

Oops me also sorry, it was only the title that contained the words Signwave when I looked again. Adam

    Testing a electrolytic Cap

Hi John TANTs are not an alternative for Electrolytics they have different characteristics which may not be suited as an alternative. For some applications it's desirable to use a TANT over an electrolytic if leakage current is a problem. I stopped using TANTs in my design a few years ago...

PWM signal with 50ns freq. Step

Hello Max The period of 24 MHz is 41.6 ns. So this is going to be roughly the maximum time delay you can achieve minus the shorted pulse that the signal source can supply, whatever that might be. That is if you want your PWM signal as a percentage in relation to this 24 MHz .If however you are...

    LTSpice switch

We can help you, but because this is Homework I can't just give you the answer. One of the moderators would slap my wrists :) Lets get it moved first so others can also help. I can't move this so one of the moderators might be along soon and can do this for me. But we will help you. Adam

    LTSpice switch

Yes, I don't think the switches simulate bounce? You could try and mimic what the switch would do using the waveform function of the Voltage component. Adam
