    Circuit A Day?

You can buy lots of selection boxes of components aimed around project making which would mean only buying one that would give you lots of bits to play with. You must have an interest of some form of circuit. Otherwise why would you want to learn electronics. Something must have caught your eye...

    Small Microphone transmitter

This circuit arangment is not that common and may prove difficult to get working. You could try moving the 47pF to be across the coil. You might also need to reduce the other capacitor to get it to work. Thats what I would try first. Adam

    Timer with piezo

Ok and this we could possibly use as the trigger latch for the piezo. Then all we need is a way of delaying the clock pulse so you have time to get ready and then light the GO_LED. I have added an LED to the circuit so you know when it's triggered, either intentionally or in case you knock the...

    Timer with piezo

Here's a little circuit that we could possibly use for the stop watch. Adam

    Timer with piezo

So do you want to press a button and then shoot which stops the timer or maybe an LED to indicate when to shoot? Do you want the time that has elapsed to be displayed and then the whole cycle repeats. Adam

IR diode+Photo diode sensor for Tachometer

Hello You dont need the cap and diodes for D.C and also photo diodes have low gain so you might be better with a photo transistor like the SFH309FA. Adam

    The art of electronics

Well as far as I know the Physics of transistor, capacitors, resistors and inductors have not changed. So if you want to learn about electronics then yes. If your after up todate applications then yes and no. The book is designed to teach you some of the basics and you would be able to design...
