Eletronic horn on a toy car won't work.

I see rust/corrosion ... use some sandpaper or nail file on all the metal contacts, next step is a multimeter and test for continuity

    LED flashlights

They are all standard 5mm / 20ma LEDs To be honest you might get away with a single 18650, but you run the risk of them slowly burning out if the current is already maxed out... Ideally the circuit needs modifying, but i'd probably use the lithium as it is (i've pushed 5mm up to 40ma and they...

    LED flashlights

Faulty? It reads 3 x 4.2v which is 12v (as lithiums settle to 3.8/4 quickly) i rounded it down! From what you were asking, you implied you wanted to replace the AA's with lithiums i presumed 3 AA lithiums (14500 batteries) 3 x 4.2 gives 12v I then asked what LEDs it has... 3mm? 5mm 1w LED...

    7.4v? 3 x 4.2v = 12v, what are the?LEDs?

    Craig's battery saver for Android!

I added a neat little feature, it shuts down any open apps (except for the top most app you're using) i find AutoStarts useful for this as you can disable app's bootreceivers bringing your app to factory reset standards In my battery saver click on the "FreeMem" option tick to enable it, when...

    Ah ratings battery to switch

Are you simply powering the led? 24volts over kill However 24 - 2 - 22/0.02 = 1.1k ok good but, the wattage is 0.4watts so unless you have a 1/2w resistor it's going to get hot with a 1/4watt resistor To answer the question, unless more than 3amps flow, it will be fine..

    Need help to getting started

Baby steps learning all the basics, once you have that you look for IC's to do a specific job, counting for example, so you first need to have an area you're interested in...

    Theory .. LED Current reg

Yup, i always cover it up to get more light, it has a 100w heatsink for a 5w, it's been running for 12 months works fantastic, but sure it's not steady, but close enough using the ldr as feedback to control the current Yeah, not for use in the day (as sunlight switches it off) but for a night...

    Theory .. LED Current reg

Haha, i keep calling them diodes! The circuit is in use right now, i'll get back to you on it..

    Theory .. LED Current reg

A few months ago i built a little (5 watt little?) Light which uses a LDR, it's worked flawlessly, but i don't have current limiters in place.. It dawned on me a few days ago, it does!... using a light diode resistor does do that Come darkness the light comes on slowly 0.6v.. 1v... 3v to the...
