    I used to be a blind man. But about 20 years ago I stopped selling blinds. 5v is on the diagram. This is the red lead in the diagram. This is called the positive lead. The black lead from the 5v goes to the earth symbols. This is the negative lead.

    To keep your boards as cheap as possible, allow 70 thou between boards and cut them yourself with a hax saw. Linish the edges with sandpaper.
