    Infrared Obstacle Detection

Firstly, the author is not driving a servo directly from any of the circuit variations shown. The output of all of his circuits feed the ADC input of a Picaxe. Secondly, servos aren't reversed by reversing their polarity. http://www.servocity.com/html/how_do_servos_work_.html Chris

Solar Charge Controller: add Load Output?

That would indicate that the fuse isn't currently used. That's very odd. Chris

Solar Charge Controller: add Load Output?

Top center. It doesn't look like any fuse I'm familiar with. Chris https://www.electronicspoint.com/attachments/8522d1370275864-solar-charge-controller-add-load-output-cam00033-1670891688.jpg

Solar Charge Controller: add Load Output?

Steve, what's the component marked "F"? One leg is connected to "L-". Chris

charging internal battery in led light

Not that it's related but one of your photos appears to have a microphone in the upper right corner of the PCB. Does this lighting system employ a a sound activated mode? Chris

    Demodulation

I'm sorry for the delay but better late than never. Let's start with this attachment. It shows an RF generator that is outputting a 500KHz Carrier, Amplitude Modulated by a 1KHz tone. The modulated carrier is then fed into a simple RF Detector (Demodulator), which is nothing more than a...

    Simple transistor circuit problem

Yes, Picaxe chips are more expensive than their counterparts but this is because there's no additional cost for software or hardware. For one offs or small runs they're worth the higher cost for novices. Chris

If the Lord is willing and the Creek don't rise I'll be posting what I promised by this weekend. Sorry for the delay. Chris

    Simple transistor circuit problem

I'm a Picaxe pusher. Especially for novices! I think they make a 40 pin model. http://www.picaxe.com/ Chris

    Simple transistor circuit problem

Kris, I had to type this up in Notepad for a quick paste and go because my DSL, actually Tel Line, is having issues. When I posted that circuit it wasn't clear what rasklangus' project was. He wanted a discrete circuit that can do two things. One was light a single low current LED with a...

At this point it would be best to fully describe your project. Chris

    Demodulation

I'm sorry for the delay but I lost my DSL over the past 2 days and what I have now is sporadic. I have been working off-line on what I promised you though . While I do have access I want to tell you that the only thing that dietermoreno will bring to this discussion will be absolute chaos! I...

    Demodulation

Ha Harald, I refrained from posting when I returned home. At least I think I did! :D That's funny Steve! Before I post anything for Vick I have to model a 1N34 but first I'm going for a long bike ride. The weather is a bit cooler and dryer today, so I'm hoping not to look like a wet rag...

    Capacitors as timed circuit

Assuming you're referring to the circuit at the top of the page I don't see VR1. That circuit is a monostable and is what you're looking for but it needs some tweaks. As it stands it's level triggered on the Trigger pin 2. If S1 is held closed it will never time out. Google "Edge Triggering a...

    Demodulation

I'm going to a retirement party shortly. When I return you may want to scrutinize anything I post. :D In the interim you may want to follow this topic. https://www.electronicspoint.com/half-wave-rectifier-smoothing-capacitor-t260275.html See anything similar to your Detector- Demodulator...

Well, in that case this thread is going to veer off into "Home Work" territory. The mods may elect to move this thread to https://www.electronicspoint.com/electronics-homework-help-f106.html I will supply you with schematics, plots and TOP as I walk you through it but I won't give you...

Well, as Bob pointed out ... There's also no flash rate or duty cycle given. We need this information. Chris
