    Tucker

Steve, it was wise to move this to its own thread. I was starting to get pangs of hijacking guilt. :D So, back to the tucker. How did food get that handle? In parts of the USA we have our own alternate terms for food. Eats, Chow, Grub, Vittles, Mess (military), We also have terms for some...

    Flasher circuit negative switching

Not including the relays and a PC board, there's less than $12.00 worth of components. Where to purchase them depends upon where you live. Keep in mind that U1 is a Microcontroller, which must be programmed.

    MOSFET IRF540A circuit.

Justin, thanks for testing it. I just wanted to be absolutely sure that low side control of the puck was not viable. I'll be posting an updated high side version soon. Chris

    Flasher circuit negative switching

I've modified the last schematic to reflect your existing turn sig resistors.

    Flasher circuit negative switching

Ah, you found a short circuit between the ears! :p:D I'll update the schematic to reflect the existing resistors.

    Flasher circuit negative switching

I modified the attachment in that post, so take a look. Normally I'd use much higher values but since this is a noisy automobile environment I lowered them. You may find that they have to be scaled by 10:1. For certain, this circuit needs to be completely prototyped external of the auto using a...

    Tucker

Steve, thanks for the translation. Would Diamondback on a stick qualify as a Tucker? Been there, done that. ;) Chris

    VCO-pos 25

If you're referring to a MOC3041 the data sheet includes example circuits. http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/5039/MOTOROLA/MOC3041.html

    Connector type

Unlike BNC, PL259, DB9, RJ45, etc, I don't think a connector like that fits into a designated family, other than rectangular 3 pin male - PCB Interconnect. I could be wrong though.

speed control of induction motor through voice command ckt

If this topic can be taken to completion it will certainly be the longest thread in the forum's history.

    Tucker

There are times when I would say that Aussies and Americans speak the same language. This ain't one of those times. :D What the hell did you just say??? The only decipherable part of that was barbie! :p Chris

2 LED's circuit (not so simple as it sounds)

You better do your testing in the dark because with those value resistors you may not see the LEDs light in the day time.

2 LED's circuit (not so simple as it sounds)

I don't see any green LED in your diagram and what is "a clip" ?

    Repairing a toaster..

You guys are cruel! It's been over 10 days since this poor guy posted this. For all we know he's a bachelor and may have starved to death by now! Seriously though... If the Ohmmeter survived being connected to the mains it'll be a small miracle.

    WD40 ok as switch cleaner

Hey, Edison burned up a sh!t load of filaments before he got it right. ;)

    WD40 ok as switch cleaner

Not surprising. It's one of those little known facts that WD40 derives its name from "Water Displacement 40". I once knew what the 40 meant but have since forgotten. ;)

    WD40 ok as switch cleaner

Not really. There are no bearings on the ways of a lathe.

    Loading a blinker relay.

Type charmap at the command prompt. It'll bring up the windows character map. Once you have it up and see how it works, look down in the right hand corner of the window. You'll see the ALT+nnnn key strokes to generate it from the keyboard. The numeric key pad must be used though. This...

    Variable Switch?

Why is it that the USB port is treated like a mains receptacle or magic power jack? Wallwarts are dirt cheap with no risk of computer damage. Before you spend money on a Pot it might behoove you to be sure your motor's speed can be controlled via varying the voltage.
