Series Resistor in Place of Line Distribution Transformer

It can be. But for the umpteenth time, you will lose most of the power in the resistors. Is that difficult to understand?

Series Resistor in Place of Line Distribution Transformer

That calculates to only 30W into a 166 ohm impedance. The spec says the output impedance is 83 ohms for the 60W amp at 70V out. No, that will not be a valid test, since the resistor will give a much different line current for the same speaker power, than the transformer. You need to use the...

    Air conditioner remote control

Given the proprietary nature of such a remote, I think it would be difficult to duplicate its signals. One possibility is to use WIFI controlled relays wired across the remote buttons to simulate the button presses.

    restoring old garage door opener-receiver/transmitter

Do you have a meter to check the voltage across the relay contacts connected to the opener? It should drop to zero when the relay is activated.

    Relay Priority

Will the relays always be energized in sequence (i.e. If U2 is on then so is U1, and if U3 is on, the so are U1 and U2)? If so, the relay connections below should work:

Convert 7 Segment LED Digital Clock to 3 Segment Representing Seconds, Minutes and Hours

You could use multiplexers to sequentially connect one IR LED driver to the 8-segment LEDs, one segment at a time. That would require 6 digits x 8 segments = 48 mux switches. At the receiver end you would need 2 x 8 = 16 switches, plus logic to decode the signal. Of course you would have to...

How about hot steam for unsoldering (more effective than heat gun?)

Doubt that will heat the joint sufficiently to melt solder, and some of the steam will condense so you will end up with a wet board, likely not desirable.

Naw, that would be piling on. Just callin' it as I see it.

    You are probably correct.

Which resistors for crossover circuit ?

Measure the physical size of ones that have failed and determine the wattage of similar sized resistors from common resistor data. Then pick ones with a least twice that wattage rating.

I suggest you don't reply on this forum while you are on whatever you are on.

Query about the recharging of a lead acid battery

You could use the 5V supply but, at a minimum, you would need to add a small series resistor (likely about 10 ohms) to limit the charge current to 100mA and charge for about 10 hours. Connect a multimeter in series to monitor the current.

Old dvd home theatre SONY sr4w , optical input is Dolby digital 5.1?

The specs say it can decode Dolbly Prologic II, which should give you 5.1 surround sound. You would need an optical sound source to check out the system before you buy.

    Electrical circuit Analysis

But that's a very tiny current, likely to the limits of the computing precision in the simulator. No matter how many digits the current is computed too, it may never be exactly zero.

    Electrical circuit Analysis

Yes, you can do transient analysis with constant voltage supplies. Why would you expect other than 0 amps? Yes, that value is approaching the precision of the Spice calculations. What don't you understand? With zero voltage across the components (the same signal from both sources) you get...
