    AC circuit and relay

thinking about it now that i just typed that, i would say the 24vac is coming from the gas unit itself and the controller is just opening and closing the circuit.

    AC circuit and relay

The purpose of this circuit is in a house with a Central Gas heating system, and installing a heat distribution system. But the way the gas heating works the distribution system I am putting in cannot operate while the gas heater is operating else it will gas the house out. (2 totally different...

    AC circuit and relay

Hi guys, I am trying to trigger a 230vac circuit off of a 24vac circuit. I thought the easiest way to do this would be with a relay as it allowed for sufficient current on the 230vac side. I got a relay with a 24vac coil, but with the coil resistance of 180 ohm it brought the signal...

    LED Controller

Hi, I have recently wired up an array of RGB LED lighting on my car. I have it in 8 different sections and want to make a controller that gives me full RGB Colour mixing with intensity control over each section individually. So based on this I figure I need 24 individual outputs. The LED's...

    Audio Resistance

unfortunately the information i have is limited. THe amp I pulled out is a 4ch amp, and all i know is the input impedence is 100kohm. Am hoping to connect it to 2x 2ch amps

    Audio Resistance

I have an audio device which the amplifier on it broke. The amplifier had a 100kohm input. The part I want to replace it with only has a 10kohm input. Is it as simple as just adding a resistor across the connection to make it appear as 100kohm or do i have to do more? Cheers

    WD40 ok as switch cleaner

i live in a high sulphur area, where exposed copper can corrode in a matter of days. We have a constant battle here with scratchy pots. We use Deoxit Contact cleaners and find them great. Altho when we do it we do it in a multistage process, with cleaning, lubing and sealing. After working with...

    Dead LED's

It is an LM317M, With 2x Resistors, Have not got it infront of me so cannot give more specific details. There is what looks like a mosfett down the line on the -ve side of the LEDs. Chinese made Item made very poorly, these are keeping me occupied with constant repairs. (in total is 24 LEDs on 1...

    Dead LED's

Hi Guys, Thanks for your help, checked it with a battery and indeed 1 LED in the circuit was dead, swapped it out and all working fine now.

    Car Audio Repair

Unfortunately due to a miss wire, the headunit in my car ended up in smoke. I have since pulled the headunit out and traced the fault to be the amplifier unit in the headunit. I Removed it, put the headunit back in the car and everything else works great. What I am hoping is I Have got 2 Fusion...

    Microcontrollers and PWM

I am looking at making a custom LED circuit, which will involve approx 300 RGB Leds which i would like individual control of each color in each LED, meaning approx 900 individual outputs are required. Is there an easy way to do this? I have been looking at micro controllers but most of them i...

    Dead LED's

It is a Variable Voltage Regulator, all the resistors are still ok on it. there is no resistor immediately in series with the LEDs... but very possibly further down the line. I have not looked that far down the line yet. Although I suspect there is not as on the -ve side i think it goes directly...

    Dead LED's

I have a circuit with 4 3w LEDs in series. There is a Voltage regulator on the + end with an incoming voltage of 24v. The voltage regulator appeared to be dead so i replaced it. The LEDs still do not work. Is it possible that when the voltage regulator died (win tested it had 24v on the output)...
