Broken charger component on circuit board of my Bluetooth speaker

I need help fixing the charger plug-in component on the PCB of my Bluetooth speaker!!

My main question would be that could it be possible to just solder a wire to neg and a wire to pos of the PCB board where the charger plug-in gets soldered at?

And if doing so will it charge properly?

Ok I can send a photo here shortly. But to be a quick fix simple and free I just want to solder wires to the board where the micro usb is supposed to be soldered to
