Calibration of Handy Multimeters with built-in probes

Hi,

How do you calibrate handy multimeters that comes with a built-in
probe that are not detachable from the multimeters?

Do you simply 'connect' the probes onto the standard reference
equipment? Or is there a way to unplug, connect a banana cable and
calibrate?

Please advice.
