Can I put a 3 watt speaker to a 5 watt board

This is my first project ever. I want to make a portal radio with a button that plays a song when I press it. Would I be able to hook up this speaker to this board?

You can not play at full volume.
If you do, the speaker will blow.
Take a speaker of at least 5 Watts.

It should be okay as long as you don't set the speaker volume much above where it starts to generate audible distortion.
