My simple fix with a bit In manufacturing accessories port, probably for the fix I did. Notice the manufacturer port, and the case vent that requires the consumer fix...

I have absolutely no idea what you are doing.
But I have questions for you.
1. Does the amp overheat?
2. Does it have an internal cooling fan?
3. Have you checked heat sink paste on output transistors?
4. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

The amp is one of those fantastic ideas but was too expensive to complete properly. They added a female plug in for the fan, and expected everyone to add it. The amp used to get hot and snap off in the middle of a movie. Now it is working properly, and the glitches it used to have are gone. Using a fan to draw the heat through the vent holes, keeps the case cool, and even though it has a high power fan that works in high power conditions, built into the amp case, the low power states I usually use, never turned it on. The fan I added does a great job, and I don't even think about it during movies anymore...!!!

So also, after building a regular wall wart powered 12 case fan, my old vintage is quiet, performs like a champ, and works just fine. The new style fan is a whirring nightmarish buzz generally blowing lots and lots of air, rather than exhausting the heat from the vent... Just saying, most pc fans suck air in rather than exhausting heat out...
