Dear all,

I would like to use a stepper motor and the vendor gave me a driver for this motor.
The driver has an input to connect the motor on to it (this input is composed from 4 entrance : phase A, phase A', Phase B, phase B').

I know that I should use 48 V supply voltage for this driver and the phase current will be less than 10 A (to obtain high torque values which I want !).
So to connect the motor to the driver I need to choose a cable capable of supporting these voltages, and currents.

The problem is that this cable should be "Sheilded" as the data sheet tells me.
I found the following product:

http://www.distrelec.ch/en/control-cable-shielded-x2-50-mm-sold-by-meter-lapp-oelflex-cl-110-cy-blk-1kv-4g2/p/15581665?q=*&filter_Category3=Câbles+réseau+/+Câbles+de+contrôle+/+Câbles+de+données+/+Câbles+en+fibres+optiques&filter_Section=2.50+mm²&filter_Category4=Câbles+de+commande&filter_Conducteurs=4&filter_Buyable=1&page=3&origPageSize=50&simi=96.72

Do you know if this cable can support high current? and if I can use it to connect the motor to the driver?

Many thanks and bests regards

Have no idea why it should be shielded, however, 2.5sqmm will handle 15A ok depending on how far you intend to run the cable.
