Im sorry to bring up the old post many years later.
The likelihood of the OP seeing this message is as good as zero (last on the forum in 2019).

But if 'glue' is typical then you will have to determine its type and seek the solvent for it and/or cut'n'prise the lid off as we inevitably end up doing!

Hi, is this fix ?
replace zener diode an cap ?
does work for sure? currently i got two units wih same faults

Also i measure the power suply (both got 29V - 30V) it is more than rated 24V!
but i don't wanna try with 30v adapter i think this is too much

thanks for investigation

Ok, 1 unit is fixed but i am woried about heat on R5 (330ohm resistor) what can i do to reduce heat? It is very hot!
should i buy 330/10w resistor (white housing)? Or replace psu with correct 24V-AC

Second, what is healty resistance on solenoids?
I probably got one faulty solenoid, can't be measured or resistace is high 134+Mega Ohms, not switcted by relay...
Other one is around 32,4 Ohms, this one is correct and normaly switched on by relay

Thanks in advance, you already helped me so much.
