Clavinova FX conversion

Hello all,

Complete noob here so be please be gentle

I own a Clavinova CV-300 from the late 80s. As a piano the keyboard and response are fine but the onboard sounds are pretty terrible.
It has a built in speaker and a stereo phone output. Ideally I would like to insert FX so that they come out of the speaker. The sort of FX I would be using are standard guitar pedals or maybe a multi fx unit which would all use quarter inch jack inputs/outputs. I basically want to insert some fx in the very last part of the audio chain so that they effected sound comes out of the speakers. Does anybody have any experience with this sort of thing or can you point me in the right direction for resources.

You can input audio signals at the volume control via a simple mixer (which could be as simple as a resistor/capacitor). Please post some pictures of the machine and its innards.

I may need to dismantle the top board to show the wiring if these pics are no good.

You may be able to see that the far left is the volume and next to it is a transpose slider.
Let me know if I need to strip it down more.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it has exactly that configuration. Does this mean I can use the aux as a fx send/return?
