What's wrong with my Cockroft-Walton Voltage multiplier? Input is 1000v DC. Output is only a small spark, I can easily give my self looong shot.

1000V DC in will give 1000V DC out minus diode drop.
High frequency AC supply will give about 20 times the voltage at DC.

Capacitors do not pass DC and will need a high frequency to give a low impedance.
You will need high frequency diodes, 1N4007 will not do.

So it is a fail. But I still don't understand why it isn't work, look a lot info from Web and build likewise... are the parts incompatible? Circuit seems to me be right... Haha, I'm beginner in electronic, needles to say :D

Thanks from super fast reply!

Oh, sorry...the input is AC! It's a 1000v TDK circuit.

That is a switching power supply. Assuming its output is square wave or sine wave AC, you will need extremely fast rectifier diodes.
