Hi All,

I hope you can help me with my quest,

I need advice about corrosion-resistant materials to use as electrodes for a form of a capacitor
that uses saline brine electrolyte - am not able to change the electrolyte so that is why I need to source
the electrodes that will cope with the salinity.

I am aware of things like carbon and stainless steel.

Many thanks

If you are making a capacitor, could you use a thin coating of insulation (lacquer etc) over copper etc plates?

Thanks Alec,
I think a layer of lacquer might be too fragile for my setup,
some metal rods/tubes will do the trick ... but which metal(s) is the question?
