Difference between phase register and pdc register

I am bit confused between the phase register and the pdc register in dpspic33 family. Can somebody please explain me the difference with some diagram? I am providing the link of the data sheet as i could not upload the datasheet because of size.

Basically the difference is related to single PWM signal vs. multi-signal PWM.

The PDC stands for Pwm Duty Cycle register.
It is setting the Duty cycle of any kind(single or more) of PWM output.

In the case of Multi-signal outputs PWM applications,
the PAHSEx register determines the phase relation between the multi signals.
