Hi,

If you have a transducer with differential outputs can this be connected directly to a panel meter with a differential inputs to measure the output voltage of the transducer?

Thanks in advance

Yes, also differential inputs are a great way to eliminate noise pick-up from long wires. The trick is to use a twisted pair with a transducer with differential outputs to a meter or amplifier with differential inputs.

Hi Alun,

Thanks for the confirmation. I suspected it would be nice and easy...for a change! I also want to convert the signal to a uni-polar signal aswell. Am I on the right track by thinking that you would connect the bi-polar to an op-amp?

Many Thanks

Yes, set the op-amp up as a differance amplifier with the required gain and out pops you're signal
