DIY conventions?

I went to Bronycon in Baltimore a couple of times. Unfortunately 2019 might be their last year. I do have more interest in DIY electronics than MLP though. Are there conventions or fairs out there where people get together to show off their projects?

I would like to know since I am doing the Fathom Sound project to possibly get hired. I would really like to get myself out there and make myself look professional in the community.

Trying not to be pedantic...... have you even Googled 'Maker Convention' or any other variation on the word(s)?

If you are genuinely 'keen' you'd have exploited every possible method to source such convention details before asking here.

Google - as 'evil' as it is - is still the go-to solution for finding things like that.

Not being mean, but how does one start a conversation if not for asking a question? I was looking for peoples experiences as well as general information.
