It's an awfully small led display (1/4"?) and pretty much obsolete.
Business is about supply and demand... where's the demand in this case?
BTW why are you charging such outrageous prices for electronic scrap?

A*s*i*m*o*v

.... That was a fascinating period of time for electronics

There is still quite a bit of gear in use from that
"fascinating period of time for electronics". Actually
the display is 0.3" (as per TI PDF data sheet link in
my original post). These may be scrap to you, but any
distributor who has them will charge you at least $16.50
each and some of the brokers charge as high as US$25 per
TIL311. So $6 ea. (much less than half of what I paid
for them) is hardly out of line. The TIL311 was never
an inexpensive display to begin with, due to the
materials and technology used to manufacture it.

There is/are still quite a bit of telco gear, flight
simulators and mini computers in industrial settings etc.
out there that use at least one TIL311 at the front of
each card as diagnostic status displays mounted at 90
degrees. We all know how many a tech. in a rush pulls
cards from a rack :-(

After all, the "ancient" hardware that uses the TIL-311
is a minute fraction of what it would cost to replace the
custom software running on it. Though TI discontinued
the TIL311, others still make it and will do so for many
years to come.
